Spring 2022
Identity, Youth, and Resilience in Pandemic Times
Narrative Crossings is an after-school program that fosters collaborative learning and creative advocacy, bringing together local high school students and Tufts University undergraduates from Professor Jayanthi Mistry’s Self and Identity class.
This spring, participants explored themes of identity, community, and social change through the lens of the Covid-19 pandemic. Using photography, poetry, and personal narrative, they shared their reflections, experiences, and stories through several outreach projects: a “community voice” Instagram campaign, youth voice displays in public spaces, and this online literary journal.
Hope is being able to see the light shine upon you
