Narrative Crossings: Exploring Identity and Voice with Local Youth

Narrative Crossings is a creative outreach project that connects local high school students, undergraduates, and the broader community. The program invites youth participants to explore questions of cultural identity, one’s place in the community, the experience of crossing boundaries, and conceptions of voice, belonging, and home.

Participants collaborate with writers, poets, and photographers as they explore different mediums for sharing their stories with the public.

Below you will find samples of past projects, including Instagram campaigns, project videos, and our online literary journal, Voices.
