We offer fellowships to local high school students participating in Narrative Crossings. High School Fellows collaborate with undergraduates from Professor Jayanthi Mistry’s Self and Identity class at Tufts University, exploring questions of cultural identity, one’s place in the community, the experience of crossing boundaries, and conceptions of voice, belonging, and resilience.
Participants collaborate with local writers, poets, and photographers as they explore different creative mediums for sharing their stories with the public. Fellows receive a stipend for their work.
Spring 2024: Please note that programming will run on Wednesdays @ 4:15-5:30pm at Tufts University from late February through early May with the exception of school vacation weeks.
