Spring 2024
Identity and Resilience
Narrative Crossings is an after-school program that fosters collaborative learning and creative expression, bringing together local high school students and Tufts University undergraduates from Professor Jayanthi Mistry’s Self and Identity class.
This spring, participants explored themes of identity and resilience. Using photography, poetry, and personal narrative, they shared their reflections, experiences, and stories through several outreach projects: a “community voice” Instagram campaign, a youth voice exhibit at the Medford Public Library, and this online journal.

Being the oldest child has made me strong, as
I have seen what my parents have done for me.
